A birthday present for
 who's b-day is on the 19th, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!So I told egyptfreak that I didn't have time to draw something for her but....ya know what? I should always have time to do something special for mah friend's birthdays!!!  And I decided to do something special, and after a few horrible sketches I finally decided to do this, to take the time to try and create a nice background for Horus, egyptian god of the sky and a character from her book the God King. This was really a big deal for me because I don't really draw backgrounds often...or at all. This is probably my first completed digital background...  LOLI hope she likes it! I really do suck at backgrounds.  I cheated a bit with the sand, did a bit of tracing/copying over a ref, and I had refs for the pyramids and the nile but everything else all came from my head, cept horus, he was already drawn XDPainted Digitally: 7/1/09 Original painting of Horus: [link] |
